Fashion designer Stella McCartney arrives at the British Fashion Awards in London Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007. McCartney scooped the top prize when she was named Designer of the Year. Other winners included Anya Hindmarch for Designer Brand of the Year and Christopher Kane for New Designer of the Year. Georgina Chapman, who is engaged to Harvey Weinstein -- won Red Carpet Designer of the Year for her label Marchesa.
The annual awards organized by the British Fashion Council celebrates the best emerging and established fashion talents from within the industry.
